National CSR Educators Council

About

The National CSR Educators Council is a coalition of Schools, Colleges and Universities in the Philippines that commit to integrate all CSR efforts in their campuses in order to create a meaningful learning experience that advocates for students to Make CSR a Lifestyle (CSR 3.0).

Objectives

  • To create a mechanism in the schools who join this program to consolidate their current practices and
activities in community service, NSTP, and integrate the conduct of immersion experiences.
  • To get the various public schools, to work with the tertiary institution in this Project to try and address some pressing community issue or problem on a continuing basis.
  • To document the Tertiary Institutions experiences for sharing with other schools, and decision-makers at various levels, through BCYF stories.
  • To engage in Research which helps their communities better plan projects for addressing identified reads or problems.

CSR 3.0

“We are responsible members of our family and country (citizenship), we strive to be stewards of our environment (sustainability), and we exist to be our brother’s and sister’s keeper (social responsibility)”

This CSR concept includes the traditional concept of the corporate philanthropy and newer efforts at transformative CSR, shared value, good governance and impact-focused social businesses.
