Why an Interns Program?
One of the key concerns of BCYF Education is the appropriate training of young people who have expressed an interest in Social Development. In this regard, BCYF established its Interns Program for current students (BCYF Cadets), and new graduates (BCYF Fellows) interested in being immersed in CSR and socially impactful situations.
Who can apply?
Leadership Fellows
The BCYF Leadership Fellows Program application is open for college graduates and young professionals who are below 30 years old at the time of application. Leadership Fellows will work full-time for 12 months leading a BCYF initiative in any of its Social Development Programs (Volunteer Development, CSR Development, or Social Enterprise Development).
Leadership Fellows will also receive the following:
- A monthly allowance for the duration of the Fellowship
- Scholarship for a Professional Diploma in Volunteer Development and Management
- Executive Mentoring from the Top-level Mentors of BCYF
Cadets
The BCYF Cadets Program is open to college or graduate school students who are willing to volunteer with any BCYF initiative of their choice. Although no allowance will be provided, Cadets will get meaningful training in social development and exposure / participation in BCYF events. It is preferable that respective schools award academic credit to BCYF cadets as they work with BCYF.
