5th Conference on Research in CSR Highlights Personal Transformation
Manila — Last September 28, 2015, the BCYF held its culminating conference to introduce CSR 3.0 or Personal Social Responsibility at the 5th Conference on Research in CSR at Far Eastern University, Nicanor Reyes Street, Manila.
The theme was “Citizenship, Sustainability and Social Responsibility (CSR 3.0) – Changing the Nation through Personal Transformation”, and was co-presented by the Management Association of the Philippines, Far Eastern Universtiy, and PwC Philippines.
The Conference highlighted the nationwide research on the State of CSR for Schools Colleges and Universities, with keynote speeches from Prof. Francisco Roman Jr. of the RVR Center for Social Responsibility in AIM, Atty. Alex B. Cabrera of PwC Philippines, Dr. Francisco Juico of MAP, and Asec. Luis Cruz of the Department of Foreign Affairs who talked about CSR and the ASEAN Integration.
The Conference was capped by a series of inspiring talks from women practitioners of CSR namely, Chiqui Escareal-Go of Mansmith and Fielders Inc., Dr. Cora Claudio of Earth Institute, and Mae Paner a.k.a. Juana Change.
